O Cineclube MUTIM (Mulheres Trabalhadoras das Imagens do Movimento) e o Goethe-Institut de Lisboa apresentam a longa-metragem alemã “Rabiye Kurnaz contra George W. Bush”, um drama tão emocionante quanto humorístico do realizador Andreas Dresen e da argumentista Laila Stieler, no dia 22 de Junho às 19h00 no auditório do Goethe-Institut. Laila Stieler, que ganhou o Urso de Prata para o argumento do filme durante o Festival de Berlim 2022, estará presente para uma conversa sobre o filme, narrativas femininas, e a profissão de argumentista na Alemanha e no mundo ontem, hoje, e amanhã.

The Cineclube MUTIM (Mulheres Trabalhadoras das Imagens do Movimento) and the Goethe-Institut of Lisbon present the German feature film “Rabiye Kurnaz versus George W. Bush”, a moving and humorous drama by director Andreas Dresen and screenwriter Laila Stieler, on 22 June at 7pm in the auditorium of the Goethe-Institut. Laila Stieler, who won the Silver Bear for the film’s screenplay during the Berlin Film Festival 2022, will be present for a conversation about the film, female narratives, and the screenwriting profession in Germany and the world yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
